Jacklin Aydin, LPC
Founder
Jacklin Aydin, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. Jacklin has experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families in individual and group therapy settings.
Her years of experience working in adult and adolescent partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs have provided her with experience in crisis intervention, symptom stabilization, and relapse prevention. She also has experience working in traditional outpatient and providing in-home therapy to adolescents and their families. She currently works in college counseling as a First-Generation Counselor and Outreach Specialist as well as with adults and young adults in her private practice. Jacklin is skilled in helping clients work through depression, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, interpersonal stressors, life transitions, fertility struggles, and grief.
Jacklin believes in providing therapy that fits the individual’s needs. She is able to assess and work collaboratively with the client in identifying their goals for therapy. Depending on the client’s needs, Jacklin incorporates talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy skills. Through her calm and supportive nature, she is able to create a safe environment by actively listening and building rapport. She will then guide you through the process of healing and personal growth whether by increasing self-awareness, processing through emotional pain, changing thoughts and behaviors, and/or implementing healthy coping skills.
Alexis Treanor, LPC
ATR-BC, ACS, ATCS
Alexis Treanor, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist who has been working with children, adolescents, parents, and families for the past 10 years. She has experience in residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient, and in-home counseling. She uses multiple approaches and methods to help clients toward their goals, including a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and trauma work. She is also trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach, as well as the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum, which helps her to connect with all family members involved.
She has a positive, outgoing, and creative personality that helps her to build rapport with youth and families. Your safety and comfort come first, and she prioritizes establishing a supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
She is hopeful to collaborate with you in order to develop a treatment plan that is unique to your goals and will help you feel more fulfilled.
